    A couple of tools that allow for creation of bullets/lasers and sparks. Sparks are generated on impact with geometry. The blackbox can easily be modified to shoot sparks triggered by something else – feel free to use and customize it. The controls are elaborate without being too crowded, you can really craft sparks with that tool.

    Looks like this:


    To install it, open your

    C:\Documents and Settings\<USERNAME>\Local Settings\Application Data\Autodesk\3dsmax\<MAX VERSION>\enu\plugcfg\thinking.ini

    Backup it first, for example save it as thinking.ini.bak. Then paste the following block in the [SchematicViewColors] section (the first one), overwriting the existing one:
