And at tthe end, it happened! In the same day as my EUE talk about destruction with TP4, it got released and my DVD with it – how’s that about timing! The announcement from Cebas is here:

And the Eat3D one is here:
Now, I think I have some explaining to do. First, the more obvious – the unpleasant itchy delay in releasing it was obviously caused by the wait for the TP4 release. And since it’s a TP4 DVD, it wasn’t really possible to release it before TP4 itself, was it 🙂
Then about this ‘1st of 2’ business. When I started making the DVD, I came up with a plan that I think goes through TP in its entirety in the best way, teaching-wise. With that plan shaping up and progressing, it became obvious that just one DVD will not be sufficient to cover it all. And rather then shortening and compromising it, it was decided to split it up. If you look at the contents list of the released DVD, you’ll see that there are two chapters – and these are the ‘Introduction’ and ‘Beginner’ chapters. The ‘Intermediate’ and ‘Advanced’ chapters will be on the next DVD. And yes, the names should be revealing enough that these are gonna be the more interesting and advanced ones. And the good part is that now that TP4 is out, there’s gonna be no more conspirative delays! It should be out by the end of July. I will publish the plan itself these days, to drool you up a little 🙂
That much for now. And whoever has any questions about TP4, the DVD or anything remotely in my competence – don’t be shy 🙂
hi Hristo! thanx 4 answer, but it’s working only to reduce particles. but i want to reduce particles ONLY IN VIEWPORT. and when scene is rendering particles must stay at full quantity.
You turn the dynset off when rendering 🙂 No big deal, really.
oh! 4 preview i can see all i want without problem of viewport. and then i just delete the connection to new random seeds when i want to put particles to render.
hah. the same answer))
hi Hristo! how u doing? what’s news?
