That’s a useful technique I employ a lot – emission of particles from the leading edge of a moving object against the ground:

You can also use threshold to control dot product of the (up_vector + teapot_velocity) and vector from teapot_pivot to every seed.
In this case you even don’t need to kill particles. just check this threshold and intersection with ground as condition to born particles.

could you please help me with Naiad a bit. just downloaded evaluation copy)
how should i create rigid body? i downloaded Zanic’s files but they were created in old builds and there was some node that assigns mesh to rigid body.
in 0.6 there is no such node and connecting box_mesh node to rigid_body node and then to acceleration and dynamics does nothing. no free fall. no interaction with fluids.
